Why Compare Independent Sources?
Bills of lading identify the company named as shipper. Public-facing materials show how that company—or sources describing it—presents the business outside the shipping record.
This review compares three companies selected because they combine substantial documented volume with either a meaningful public footprint or a distinctive classification pattern: CV Cahaya, ZYAM Trading 168, and PT Sahabat Sukses Kalimantan Barat.
Selection note: These are case studies, not a claim that all three are the three largest Indonesia-linked names by weight. ZYAM is a Thailand-based supplier included because its public profile and mixed HS-code pattern make it especially relevant to the classification investigation.
Evidence rule: A company website, LinkedIn profile, business directory, or government announcement does not prove the intended use of every shipment. The evidentiary value increases when the entity, product form, date, buyer, route, and shipment can be directly connected.

The company's LinkedIn profile calls it a kratom-powder manufacturer and wholesale exporter. It advertises its own factory and warehouse, nano, micro, and mesh-30 powder, raw material for kratom extract, purity and potency testing, export compliance, and a stated production capacity of 135 tons per month.
The profile lists cgbakratom.com; the site was not accessible during this review.
Documentary comparison: The public marketing and workbook are broadly consistent in identifying a large-scale kratom-powder export business. The materials reviewed openly identify kratom and extract manufacturing inputs. They do not provide direct consumer serving or dosing instructions.
Government Description of the CV Cahaya Export
Indonesia's public information service reported that the Minister of Trade released a 351-metric-ton, 13-container CV Cahaya shipment valued at approximately US$1.05 million in February 2025. The government described the cargo as kratom powder that could be processed into health and herbal products and said PT Oneject provided sterilization or irradiation services before export.
This is a government description of the export program—not proof of how every U.S.-bound CV Cahaya shipment was marketed after arrival.

Dun & Bradstreet categorizes the company under freight transportation arrangement. Go4WorldBusiness describes a distributor of palm-kernel shell and provider of shipping services, established in 2019. Those profiles do not prominently describe a kratom-product business.
Trade databases, by contrast, identify repeated exports of Mitragyna speciosa and the United States as the principal market.
Documentary comparison: The shipping record is substantially more revealing about kratom activity than the reviewed public-facing business profiles. No direct company-authored dosing, serving, beverage, capsule, or human-consumption statements were located in the public materials reviewed for this page.
